As a volunteer NASA Solar System Ambassador, I share my passion for learning through interactive outreach events. ATD Project Management

Aligned with the Project Management Capability of the Talent Development Capability Model™, this training certificate program provided participants with ATD-exclusive templates and tools and allowed them to practice using them through an in-course case study and personal course project. Participants completed all participation requirements and a course project to demonstrate their skills in project management for talent development initiatives.

ATD Master Instructional Designer®

The ATD Master Instructional Designer™ Program covers the entire process of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs across all modalities (face-to-face, e-learning, virtual, or a blend). Explore new design models and techniques, evaluate real-world projects, and work with expert facilitators in this eight week online program.
An ATD Master Instructional Designer™ is expected to have a minimum of three years’ experience before attending the ATD Master Instructional Designer™ Program.
ATD Master Instructional Designer™ Program participants are expected to have a strong background in traditional instructional design tasks and at least one previous training or education experience in the field of instructional design.
An ATD Master Instructional Designer™ is required to submit a real-work project in four parts that demonstrates instructional design abilities. This project is reviewed and scored against a rubric by an ATD facilitator.

An ATD Master Instructional Designer™ has elevated skills in partnering with stakeholders to identify and define skills gaps—employing a variety of effective design approaches based on learning sciences—and proficiency with many technologies. An ATD Master Instructional Designer™ can easily pivot between designing for multiple modalities and can implement the learning solutions via multiple media streams to produce learner-centered events.

Kirkpatrick Certified Professional

Bronze level graduates have successfully:

Created an effective program evaluation plan that maximizes business results and minimizes resources employed
Demonstrated their ability to objectively determine where to allocate training resources to create the most business impact
Defined the critical difference between effective training and training effectiveness
Showed they understand how to evaluate programs using appropriate Kirkpatrick Model tools

Certification in Instructional Design and Online Learning

IDOL courses Academy is the trade school for instructional design and online learning.

The program has been pre-approved by the ATD Certification Institute for continuing education credits towards professional development hours for initial eligibility and recertification of the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credentials. This program has been approved for a maximum of 40 points.

Storyline® for IDOLs®: Articulate Storyline® Skilled was issued by IDOL courses to Nancy Hoehn.By the end of this course students are skilled in the Articulate Storyline® software. They are able to identify and interact with the user interface, create their first project, add buttons and hotspots, add layers and lightboxes, add drag and drop interactions, create user input interactions, insert media and audio, add animations and transitions, create quizzes, and publish the files for review, the LMS, or in HTML formats. Learners demonstrate and apply each skill throughout the course.

IDOL courses Academy® Level 1: eLearning Development was issued by IDOL courses to Nancy Hoehn.Earners have demonstrated the ability to start with a provided storyboard and develop all the assets for course design. Earners are able to create job aids, instructional scripts, animations in Vyond®, and screen capture videos. These candidates are able to create and edit eLearning courses in the Articulate Storyline® authoring tool using both basic and advanced interactions for a variety of purposes and situations.
